My husband and I are soooo happy that we chose Ricardo to choreograph our first dance. We have been married for 1 month and until this day we still get so many compliments on how beautiful our first dance was and it’s all because of Ricardo. Ok, I literally CANNOT say enough amazing things about Lexi. My husband and I were both very nervous about this because we are not dancers at all. But Lexi made this experience so much fun and created the most incredible first dance that was actually the highlight of our wedding day for both my husband and me. Not only is she talented and incredible as a professional, but over the six weeks of lessons she became a true friend. I loved her so much that I decided to book lessons for my dad and I as well for the Father/Daughter dance. All of my lessons with Lexi were so special and some of my favorite memories that I will cherish forever with my husband and father. I have referred all of my friends getting married to Lexi and they have given me the exact same positive experiences. Truly cannot recommend this experience and Lexi enough!! I love you, Lexi!!!!!

We loved working with Lauren! She brought so much positive, upbeat energy to each and every lesson. It was truly such a joy to work with her. My husband and I were not the most skilled dancers, yet Lauren was able to choreograph the most fun and impressive first dance. Something we really appreciated was how she adjusted the choreography to our skill level and feedback. Lauren also made sure that we learned how to adapt quickly if we missed a step or the band performed at a different pace – both of which ended up happening at the wedding, yet it still looked flawless to our guests! So many of guests made a point to tell us it was their favorite first dance. When it came to scheduling, Lexi was flexible and made it easy to organize our lessons. A big bonus working with Lexi was having a dedicated studio space for our lessons (we did a trial at another vendor and found it so distracting to learn our dance at a shared space). In short, we couldn’t recommend working with Lauren and Lexi more!

Working with Lexi and Ricardo was an absolute joy! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable, turned us into dance pros, all while having fun. They were so flexible and made sure all our needs were met. Each week we looked forward to our dance sessions, and each week we left with “homework”. I think recording us at the end of each session was a fantastic strategy so we could see ourselves to make improvements, and also to remember the steps. We did the Dirty Dancing dance during the reception as a surprise to our guest, and EVERYONE was absolutely blown away!!! We highly recommend anyone from beginners to pros to take lessons with the Wedding Dance Whisperer and I promise you will not be disappointed!!! Lexi is an amazing teacher. She is lively, kind, and overall a great teacher. She was patient with me and my husband and worked with us throughout the whole process to help our wedding dance be the best it could be. Lexi made us feel so special and like we could really dance! Lexi was the best, and my wife and I would recommend her to everyone. She made lessons one of our favorite parts of the wedding planning process; in a process that can be stressful, it was so nice to just show up and have some fun with someone so encouraging. Lexi was flexible with scheduling, and she made everything easy. Lexi taught us a super cool dance that we debuted at our wedding--it was a highlight for us and our guests, and it ended up being one of the most memorable moments of the night. She also taught us some fun, simple moves that we used during our reception, and that we now love to use at the receptions of friends. It makes it look like we kinda know what we are doing! I (the groom) can't say enough nice things about our experience with Lexi, and I know my wife feels the same.

Ricardo choreographed a beautiful first dance for my husband and me. We took 3 lessons to learn the dance over 3 weeks. Ricardo was very accommodating with his schedule and came to lessons well prepared. His energy is infectious - he was so fun to work with. RUN don’t walk to Lexi!!!! Booking with the wedding whisperer was the BEST decision we made for our wedding!!! Lexi is a incredibility talented dancer, but most importantly she is FUN and so easy to work with. She made two nervous dancers not only have a blast at every lesson, but impress every single one of our guests!! Thank you Lexi!! Might just have to get married all over again to learn another dance!

We had an incredible experience with Rachel!! Her choreography was original, unique and special to us as a couple. As our wedding was in Ireland, we were able to jump on a video call with her the week before to clean up the dance and get the pointers we really needed to make it perfect for our special day! She is truly THE BEST! We would highly recommend.

Lauren provided an easy to learn first dance based on our song, abilities, and comfort. She worked miracles as I had no dancing experience but come wedding day I performed like the love child of Michael Flatley and Usher. 10/10 would recommend!!

Ricardo was absolutely incredible. His teaching was relatable to me as someone who knows sports but not dance, as well as to my wife who knows how to dance the style we used for our first dance. Within that he and Lexi married our abilities into a beautifully choreographed first dance that we and all our attendees loved. Lexi was the most incredible dance instructor for our first dance! My fiancé and I were nervous about taking dance lessons because it was brand new to us and we worried about lessons being uncomfortable. Lexi was great at making us feel comfortable right away, building up our confidence each lesson, and making the whole experience really fun. With all the stress of wedding planning, our lessons with Lexi were a reprieve where we could actually enjoy the lead-up to our wedding. It helped remind us what the wedding is really all about. By the time we had our first dance at our wedding, we felt like we really had the steps down pat and breezed through it! Our guests seemed to love it (several told us it was the best first dance they had ever seen) and at the end of the night, everyone was shouting for my fiancé to bring back some of the moves he did during our first dance. It made the night even more special. I cannot recommend Lexi highly enough and would definitely work with her again if we had the opportunity!

Lexi was amazing to work with for our first dance. We found Lexi online through good reviews and loved her energy and passion for dance! We were in a time crunch and weren't sure if we could get a dance together in 2.5 weeks especially since we are both beginners, but with Lexi's dedication we did it. We chose our song and sent an example of a dance we liked--she immediately sent us a couple of cuts of the song, and came to our first practice with beautiful custom choreography ready. She broke it down and made it simple for us, and we had a blast doing 6 hours of lessons--with that and practice on our own at home we were able to nail it confidently on the big day! It was the absolute highlight of both our wedding and the wedding planning process because it was so fun. We got so many compliments and we will cherish the video forever. If you're on the fence about the time, money, or skill level, we would 100% recommend taking the leap. Lexi is amazing!

Lexi is THE BEST! Her positivity, energy, encouragement and talent make learning your first dance FUN. My husband and I have always loved dancing but have never done ballroom and were nervous. We also used a very untraditional song that complicated things but Lexi choreographed a beautiful dance that went perfectly with the music and was a big crowd pleaser. Working with Lexi was absolutely AMAZING, we tried a few trial classes with other dance teachers before finalizing working with Lexi. The Wedding Dance Whisperer was one of the best choices my partner and I could have made for our wedding. I have two left feet and Lexi was able to break things down for me in a way that was manageable. She was always on time, had a beautiful energy, and made us feel a lot less nervous about dancing in front of so many people. I’d give her 10/5 stars.

Lexi was amazing to work with - even virtually, which we did! She was professional, patient and relatable. Lexi is an amazing dance instructor!! She is great to work with and made it super easy to schedule our dance lessons. She’s flexible with location and will come to you instead of having to go to a dance studio, which was really convenient. She choreographed our wedding first dance and tailored it to our dancing skill level. She even helped editing the song to make it a more ideal length and finishing point. Lexi was super bubbly, encouraging and made taking dance lessons an overall really fun experience! We loved working with her!

Lexi was wonderful! Wedding planning and preparation can be so stressful, but Lexi made the wedding dance part of it so much fun! Even though the song we wanted wasn't a "traditional" one, she made it work, choreographing a beautiful dance that matched our skill level (non-existent). Neither of us are natural dancers, but Lexi made us look amazing. Most of all, she was just such a joy to work with. She always had such a wonderful energy and turned something we were nervous about into something fun. And we also really loved that she didn't just teach us a one-time dance. She told us from the beginning that she was going to show us versatile moves that we could use with anything, and then at the end of our last practice, she showed us how to string together the different moves in other ways. We didn't just learn one dance - we learned how to dance. Cannot recommend her more!!

Lexi was a dream. She came up with a routine that fit with our first dance song perfectly and also complimented our personalities. She got to know us and was able to scale things up or down as she see fit based on our dance ability. She came to our apartment in Brooklyn which was a game changer AND she brought the best energy. My husband and I are so lucky to have Lexi help us prepare for our first dance! Lexi is super awesome! The dance she choreographed for us fits the song perfectly. As we learned the dance, Lexi was flexible to let us learn more difficult moves and even lengthen our dance, two weeks leading up to the wedding! We have never learned ballroom dancing, but Lexi made it manageable and fun. Lexi is very clear with instructions and supportive. We highly, highly recommend Lexi!

I can not rave enough about taking lessons with Lexi!! Our first dance was a huge hit and probably one of the best parts of our wedding day!
